Matthew Nichols has a Master’s degree in history from Southern Illinois University. In addition to blogging here, he is a writer of horror fiction, with occasional dabbling in science-fiction and fantasy. His short stories and poetry have been published in several venues, including the recently published anthology Shrieks and Shivers from the Horror Zine. He hopes to eventually go on for a Ph.D., but isn’t sure when that will be.
